Dear Brito’s,

We at Anchor of hope would like to thank you for your generous contribution at the Econo Foods Golf day 2017.

All finances have been received.

Thank you Anchor of HopeOur first major project that we are involved in this year is the Monyetla Project where we are sending 60 Grade 12 students for extra classes on a Saturday to help improve their marks and stand are able to stand a chance to receive a bursary.

Last year we were able to send 30 students of which 6 received bursaries to go to University, one was accepted for medical , one student was under the top 20 in the Free state, and together 33 distinctions were achieved and 75% Bachelor pass.

This year we are paying R50 000 for 60 grade 12 students to attend Monyetla, which includes Saturday classes during terms and winter school.

We are sending three of our staff for driving lessons to improve their skills development.

The one man we are sending, Mervin was a drug addict living off the streets and Hebron Church sent him to the Victory Outreach Home,

Mervin has completed his time in the home and has been working with Anchor at the couch factory.

Our next step is developing his life skills, by training him as a baker for our bakery project.

All of this has been made possible with your partnership and contributions

Thank you

Kind Regards
