• 500g Brito’s ready-made beef meatballs
  • 1 teaspoon Brito’s crushed garlic
  •  500g La Vina spaghetti
  • 410g Rhodes braai relish
  •  ½ teaspoon St Louis salt
  •  ½ teaspoon St Louis black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon St Louis mixed herbs



  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti, stirring often, for about 10 minutes.
  3. While the spaghetti is cooking, lay meatballs out on two non-stick or oiled baking sheets and bake in the oven for approximately 10 minutes or until nicely browned.
  4. In a large, wide saucepan, heat oil and saute the crushed garlic first.
  5. Add the braai relish and salt
  6. Add in the mixed herbs and black pepper at the very end to help bring out their flavour.
  7. Simmer the sauce covered for about 20-30 minutes to enhance all of the flavours.
  8. Transfer meatballs from the oven with tongs and place into simmering sauce to combine.
  9. Serve meatballs and sauce over the spaghetti.
